Rashard Lewis will return to practice with the Sonics this Tuesday. He won't play in Wednesday's game, but says if all goes well he could return to play as early as this week.
Fantasy Spin: Many fantasy owners have been treading water with Lewis out. Prior to his injury, he was putting up All Star type numbers. This should give those owners a big lift.

Some sucker dropped him in my league and I got Rashard about 2 weeks ago. Good to hear he might come back early.

I can't believe I...
...dropped him. In a moment of panic and inexperience, I dropped Rashard for Luther Head because I was so desperate for threes (over 50 behind the second-last guy in my league). I really wish I hadn't -- now I'm running at a pace to go over my max games quickly, I'm not scoring much, and Lewis does it all.
What really made me want to cry was that I had just traded Kidd for him because I needed threes. Two games later, bang. Good for him, though -- he's been underrated for a while, and he's a great player.
Lewis
There are some players you never give up on. Lewis is one of them. He's not a superstar, but in fantasy he's one of the best, especially when turnovers are factored. Great production with little cost to turnovers.
Great news
This is great news as i've just had Boozer and Jamison go down with injuries and my team's been in freefall for a while. I actually traded for Lewis the day he got injured and the trade had already been accepted by the time I got back on the league. So I hope he can continue to produce the type of numbers he was producing before the injury.
